The following is a list of events you might enjoy attending this month. All are free of charge, open to the public, and to be held at the Dunham Public Library in Whitesboro, unless otherwise noted.

August 13 - PLOTTERS INK, our fiction writers' group, monthly meeting at 2 PM. In this group we read aloud our original stories and provide valuable feedback to each writer. August 20 - 3-4 PM - Drop-in class: Tips for using Microsoft Word. Contact library for details.
August 24 - MONDAY WRITERS GROUP, 6 PM. Here it's all about creative prose writing, fiction or non-fiction. This month's topic will be: SIRENS IN THE NIGHT. Please write an original story of 250-400 words on this topic, and bring 10-15 copies so the group can read along with you. Valuable feedback is provided for each writer.
