For August, it's all about YOU. There is no specific assignment, genre or exercise, other than to write a fictional story of your choice. You get to write whatever you like, so pick something you've been wanting to experiment with, or something you do well.
The pressure is off this month, writers! Just have fun with it.
As usual, each story should have a title, and be limited to one page, using nothing smaller than an 11 point font.
You may submit stories for any of the current or previous assignments at any time. If you want to write more than one story, we'll publish them for you. This is YOUR forum!
