Blog Renovation in Progress

Blog renovations are nearly complete, just awaiting refinements and more testing. I hope you all like the decluttered designs, and that you'll find each one easier to navigate. I put a lot of time and thought into revamping each one for maximum impact.

PLEASE bookmark (add to your favorites) so you can easily find the blogs. You can also search google, safari, or any other, with the words "Whitesboro Writers" or "Plotters ink" (etc) and you'll find us that way too.

Each of these blogs now has a "subscribe by email" feature. Add yours to it and you will receive automatic notifications when something is posted.

I've also added a "search engine" feature, "Search this blog". Simply type in the box, and the tool will pull up relevant posts.

On the main Whitesboro Writers Information blog, the 4 e-book links below the title take you directly to the Amazon site where the book is located. I hope this will have a positive impact on sales. I used the traditional blue and white Whitesboro colors, plus a bit of green which is the contrasting color used on our library's materials, to visually reinforce our affiliation with Dunham.

Plotters Ink: It was hard for me to let go of the stormy banner of the previous design, but I found the eerie looking background to be an acceptable substitute. Again, it's blue and white and people have said that it's easy on the eyes.  A new feature of this and the Monday Writers blog are the extensive menu selections at the bottom of the main post. On the left, a search by author list, in the center, search by topic, and on the right, the blog archives by month. Simply click on one and be whisked away to your destination. On the PI blog, the links are shown in bright green, again to complement the library's own color scheme.

Monday Writers Group - the color selection here was inspired by the Victorian wallpaper in the hall and stairwell of the original library building. The upstairs boardroom where we hold our meetings doesn't have that dark red glow, but it's just beyond the inner door. Sneak a peek next time we meet. The author, topic and archive links are shown below the post, in blue on a white background.

Commenting should be easier for you now. I've removed the stricture against moderation unless you're commenting on a post older than 14 days. So tell us what you think!

Your questions, suggestions for further enhancements and constructive feedback are very helpful to me. As always, keep writing!
