Plotters Ink January 12, 2017 - Workshop Agenda

To start off the new year, we are pleased to offer our group members a special workshop opportunity. These workshops will be held during the regular time slot of our Plotters Ink Fiction Writing Group meetings, from 1-3 PM, on January 12 and February 9, 2017. (We will resume the previously agreed-upon Plotters Ink agenda in March.)

Guest facilitators Julia and Nathan have created an agenda that should be as much fun as it will be instructive. The session will be split into 2 parts, as follows:

Part 1: You will be asked to do a specific writing exercise in the first hour - subject matter to be determined.

Part  2: Participants are asked to prepare IN ADVANCE a 200-250 word piece describing an object significant to a longer piece that you are currently working on. (If you aren't working on something already, you can just write the object description of your choice. ) Be sure to use all of your senses in describing this object, but you need not limit your descriptions to the five physical senses (sight, sound, touch, taste and smell).

If you have any questions about this workshop, please let us know in the comment section below or via email.

The workshops are open to all adults, even those who have never attended a session of Plotters Ink before.

After preparing your brief "object description" exercise - IN ADVANCE!!- please make several copies so that participants can read along with you. - CJ
