listed are free of charge and held at the Dunham Public Library, 76 Main
Street, Whitesboro, NY, unless otherwise noted.

you have ideas about expanding the writing group options, we'll do our best to
accommodate you. Someone suggested forming a strictly non-fiction writing group but we have yet to see it advertised.

PLOTTERS INK FICTION WRITING GROUP
All adults are welcome to
this daytime fiction writing group, facilitated by CJ Alexander. November’s writing
exercise: Write a one page piece, up to 500 words, developing a character portrayal
of a HEALER OR ABUSER. You also have the option to continue the saga of one of your previously
“invented” characters. Newcomers please arrive 10 minutes ahead of our meeting.

UTICA WRITERS CLUB
This
long-standing group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6 PM
in the Kirkland Library, Clinton, NY. Meetings are conducted in "round
table" style, in which member and visitor readings are presented to the
group for constructive comments. All varieties of writing, regardless of genre,

DUNHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY MONDAY WRITERS GROUP
The
Monday Writers Group members are amateur writers of all ages and skill levels.
We meet on the fourth Monday of each month to read and discuss the stories we
have written in advance, based on a prompt selected by the member voting. Participants should write creative fiction or
non-fiction, whatever fits on the side of one page. The writing prompt for November
is “MUST I GO ON?”. Facilitated by Jerry Finkelstein. For more information,
