Need Ideas for Character Development?

On August 14,  Plotters Ink participants will unveil their character development stories. We did not choose a theme or topic this time, as we did with the first 2 assignments. Writers can pick any theme or topic, as long as the primary focus is on describing or showing one character's true colors, so to speak.  This may not be an easy task, and if you're stumped for ideas, here are some character types you may be inspired to depict. You can do it all through dialogue, no dialogue at all, but most likely a combination of the two will work best. A link to the assignment page is at the bottom of this list. Have fun with it...and remember, you can always submit stories via email, share them with us on Google Doc, or even deliver them to the library if you don't have a computer or internet.

PS- You might also consider whether to empathize with or revile your character...or just be a neutral observer of human nature. It's challenging!
