Many thanks to Julia and Nathan for leading the enjoyable January and February workshops.
There will probably be more of these in future months (in a different time slot).
Some of the attendees submitted their exercises - you can read them here if you like.

Biographical/Historical… Dystopia… Ethnic… Horror… Humor… Mystery… Science Fiction…Travel…Urban Myth… Western…Young Adult…or Writer’s Choice: (i.e., anything not on the list as long as it’s fiction).
Most of us are more comfortable writing in certain genres, but you might consider stretching your wings into another from time to time. One interesting option might be to tell the same story for a number of months but set it in a different genre. For instance, one month tell the story of a couple eating breakfast in a WESTERN, the next month in a HORROR piece, then once more in a HUMOROUS situation. How very different those three stories would be!
You can select the SAME genre each month, or a DIFFERENT one each month, or mix it up any way you please. There is no specific "prompt" or theme. Just use your imagination and have fun.
Please bring at least ten copies of your story (one side of a page only, THANKS!) and be prepared to read aloud. Constructive feedback provided!See you on March 9th!
