April 2015 Calendar of Writing Related Events

Hello fellow writers!   MAY 2015  marks the one year anniversary of our fiction writing group "Plotters Ink" and we are in the process of arranging for a celebratory dinner outing at Piggy Pat's BBQ.  Anyone who has written for any of the Whitesboro Blogs is welcome to attend. Meanwhile- Here is a list of local free-to-the-public writing related events that are open to one and all. All events take place at the Whitesboro (Dunham)  Library unless otherwise noted. April 9 :  2 PM   Plotters Ink Fiction Writing Group - This month's genre is Science Fiction/Fantasy/Dystopia/Steampunk.   You do NOT have to attend the meeting in order to submit your story for publication on the blog. April 27 - 6 PM - Dunham Public Library Writers Group monthly meeting. This month''s topic (prompt) is:  "The Portrait"  Please bring copies of your story so we can read along.

April 28- 6-7 PM - Jordan Mierek and Jeremy Mortis will conduct a hands-on writing workshop, which will involve editing tips. Writers are encouraged to bring in selections for one on one assistance.  (This came in on April 26, sorry for the delay.)
