Meet Dennis Kininger

Anyone who frequents our library is sure to recognize this familiar face, which belongs to Dennis Kininger (shown at right, next to the stuffed polar bear he once encountered at a steakhouse in Virginia).

Born in Duluth, Minnesota but raised in Oriskany, NY, where he lives today, Dennis has been an adult services reference librarian at the Dunham Public Library in Whitesboro, NY for the past twenty-one years and counting.

Dennis is one of our blog authors, but he is also the publisher of his own Amateur Press Association, Snicker-Snack, which will be releasing its twenty-eighth issue in March 2015.*

An avid historian, Dennis contributed work, with fellow writer Cheryl Pula, to the 2010 title: "With Courage and Honor" : Oneida County's Role in the Civil War.

As a long time fan of comic books and many related genres, Dennis has published numerous articles and reviews in the following fan magazines: Six-Guns and Saddles, Zine of Bronze, Comic Fan! and Dark Corridor.
