Welcome to the Whitesboro Writers blog group. We are residents of the greater Utica, NY area who share the common enjoyment of writing in various forms. If you enjoy reading our creative, original pieces, please visit us often.Some groups, like Plotters Ink,  have monthly assignments but you might find new postings at any time. Thoughtful comments are appreciated and may be published. And, though it's hard to enforce, please respect our copyrights if you wish to cite any of our published pieces.

This is our mission: 

1. To promote interest and proficiency in writing.
2. To encourage conciseness, except where noted, our stories are limited to 250-400 words. 
3. To explore various attributes of writing, such as plot, dialogue, narrative, point of view, and more.
4. To encourage local residents to publish their original work in this venue.
